Nano & Individuals
Nano/Individual extensions are an extension method applied by isolating sections of hair and attaching around 0.8-1 gram of Hair extension via a beaded method. A Nano bead is slid onto your isolated hair, the extension is then positioned on your hair within the bead, and this is then clamped around your hair and the extension. There are varying sizes and varieties of individuals - such as Micro, I-Tip, Ultra Tip, Stick Tip and Nanos. Nanos are by far my most popular method.
It offers 360 degree movement, which allows for versatility of styling and adds both length and volume.
All About Nanos
Nanos are best applied when they match the natural hair density, but can add additional volume as well as length.
For extra fullness at the sides, around 50g is ideal, with a full head usually being around 140g - 160g.

They require refits around every 6-8 weeks and this is dependant on aftercare, lifestyle and your scalp health. Incorrect aftercare or an oilier scalp can alter how well the beads stay in the hair. Oiler hair or incorrect aftercare products can encourage the beads to slip, meaning a refit would be required more towards the 6 week mark.

Nanos move beautifully in the hair, mimicking natural hair fall and - with correct placement - are ideal and customisable for many hair up and options of styling.

Blondes can be brightened with a blend of nanos, and additional colours can be fitted to add dimension and chemical free colour to your natural hair, too!
